Draft — to be reviewed by counsel before publication

Acceptable use policy

This policy binds customers of MB Tobuli. Contact [Contact email]. Company code [Company code]. Address [Registered address]. VAT [VAT number]. It is a draft for counsel.

The service is a transactional email API on a shared sending account in eu-central-1. One customer's mail can cause the provider to pause the account for every customer.

Allowed mail

Send mail the recipient expects as part of a transaction. Examples are a receipt, a sign-in message, and an alert the recipient turned on. Send only from a domain you verified. Use a test key when you do not intend a real delivery. A test key does not leave our network.

Prohibited mail

Do not send:

Do not use a test key to probe large recipient lists. Test-mode suppression checks still run, and a bad list still creates complaint risk if you later send it live.

Bounces and complaints

We suppress an address for your tenant and globally when the provider reports a permanent bounce or a complaint. We do not suppress on a transient or undetermined bounce. A later send to a suppressed address returns HTTP 422 recipient_suppressed.

Do not ask your recipients to ignore a complaint, and do not try to clear a suppression to retry a refusing address. If you believe a suppression is a mistake, write to [Contact email] with the tenant id and the address. We decide. The global row protects other tenants. We may keep it.

Thresholds

Keep your hard-bounce share under 5% and your complaint share under 0.1% of the mail you send. On-call reviews those shares and may pause your tenant. We do not promise an automatic pause when a share is reached. To confirm when an automatic pause exists.

A pause revokes your API keys and cancels queued and scheduled mail. The provider may review the whole account at those same levels. The provider may pause the account at 10% bounce or 0.5% complaint.

Enforcement

We may revoke keys, cancel unsent mail, and refuse new sending. We may preserve logs and message metadata needed to explain a provider review. We will tell the tenant contact when we pause sending. Where the mail is unlawful or an active attack, we may pause first and write second. That order is to confirm by counsel.
